About the event

Your instructor, Chris Borke, is an electrical engineer and a beekeeper. He'll be teaching us how to understand electricity, how to stay safe when working with electrical items, how to read wiring diagrams, and how to use testing equipment like multimeters. We'll use our skills to work specifically with an item many of us find befuddling: solenoid valves and timers.

This event will be in-person and capped at 20 attendees. All attendees will receive a mulitmeter to use during the workshop that is theirs to keep. Current and aspiring producers are encouraged to attend.

Note: Scholarships are offered for this event. We recognize that money may be a limiting factor to whether people can attend these workshops or not; we hope that a scholarship can help to alleviate any financial barriers you may be experiencing in attending our educational events.
