The documentary has been getting rave reviews and this is a good educational opportunity. If you plan to join us, RSVPs are required and must be submitted by Wednesday. Farmers and ranchers are encouraged to attend
FFC is collaborating with OSMP and the Healthy Soils Group of the Boulder Community Foundation to host a screening of the documentary film “Roots SoDeep (you can see the devil down there)”. This documentary is about cattle ranchers, their animals, and their land, and a group of scientists who are trying to determine if adaptive livestock management can be a tool for environmental health and climate change mitigation.
11:00 am: The screening will begin
12:30 pm: Intermission for lunch. A farm-to-table catered lunch, including locally produced food items, will be provided for attendees.
1:30 pm : The documentary resumes
3:00 pm : Q&A with the film director Peter Byck and the leader of the ongoing 1000 Farm Initiative, Jon Lundgren, via zoom.
